The croutin

The French call it “le paradis”, the Piedmontese an “infernot”. Heaven and hell, exact opposites for the very same innermost part of the winery. This is the historical memory of Cascina Castlèt: the crouton guards over 20 thousand bottles. Many are historical vintages, the bottles used in important vertical tastings. Running the gaze across the rows of bottles, we can see the evolutions of taste and aesthetics that characterise the labels. The croutin is also where we hold special wine tastings.
