Costigliole d’Asti and the pride of belonging

The Cascina Castlèt logo consists of 3 Cs, the third C standing for Costigliole d’Asti.
Because those who make wine can never forgo their link with the territory.
Costigliole d’Asti is one of the prettiest towns between the Langa and Monferrato, situated 14 km from Asti and the same distance from Alba. The territory stretches from the plain of the River Tanaro, climbing the hill to the 300 m of the village of San Michele, which offers a splendid view as far as the Alps.
The characteristics of the soil, which is particularly well-suited to the cultivated of wines, make Costigliole the town with the most extensive area of vineyards in Piedmont, and this has always influenced the development of the local economy: vegetables on the plain and vines on the hills, divided by roads traced way back in Roman times or by medieval merchants.
