Barolo & Friends Event: Cascina Castlèt is ready for Norwegian fjords

Once again, we are ready to set off to promote Barbera, our lands which have been registered as a Unesco World Heritage Site and the wines of Cascina Castlèt in the world. The first journey of 2017 is to the Norwegian fjords, with the Consorzio Vini del Piemonte, which has organised two legs of the Barolo & Friends Event: Monday the 30th of January 2017, in Oslo, and Tuesday the 31st of January 2017, in Trondheim, Norway’s third largest city. Italy is in first place in the Scandinavian country for the consumption of red wine, with 17.4 million litres imported every year, and Piedmont is one of the leading Italian regions for sales, thanks to the success of the great Piedmont reds in recent years. Our importer, Fond Berg, will be showing: Barbera d’Asti Vespa 2015, Barbera d’Asti Litina 2012, Passum Barbera d’Asti 2011 and 2012, CastletRosè 2015, Ataj Chardonnay 2015 and Moscato d’Asti 2016. In Oslo, the programme also includes a Trade Master Class with Ataj Piemonte Chardonnay 2015,  while in Trondheim, the Master Class will be dedicated to Barbera d’Asti 2015  Vespa. Both classes will be held by Sandro Minella. More info: www.ivinidelpiemonte.it
