The pride of being a part of something: Cascina Castle’t has "3 C"s as its logo because the third C stands for Costigliole.
The link with their own territory is a sine qua non for those who make wine.
Costigliole d’Asti, 14 km from both Asti and Alba, is one of Upper Monferrato’s most charming towns. The territory, from the plain of the Tanaro River, rises 300 metres to the hilltop ward of San Michele, which boasts a magnificent view...all the way to the Alps.
The characteristics of the soil, particularly suitable for vines, make Costigliole the town with the greatest surface area of vineyards in Piedmont and have always conditioned the growth of the local economy: vegetable gardens on the lowlands, vines on the hillsides, craftwork in the hamlets, and along roads once trodden by ancient Romans and mediaeval merchants.
